My Story
Stephane Leon is an American artist, soon to be known for her fun and vibrant acrylic paintings, adorable graphic art and lovely/wacky ceramics. She is a teacher, a sculptor and an illustrator and has been known primarily as the art director of Franklin Phonetic School, local Prescott community artist and Educational Director of the Prescott Food Forest.

Her love of not only art but also business, lead her to start up an LLC called Clayote Studios. While she absolutely loved the experience, she decided to sell her half of the LLC to her business partner and take the position of lead art teacher at Franklin Phonetic School from 2018-2021.

She greatly enjoyed teaching but just couldn't shake the urge to do more with herself. So she volunteered with a local nonprofit foundation, Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation, serving as a board member and heading up the Fundraising Committee for a few years, as well as assisting with a lot of their website/ graphic art needs. She currently volunteers with other local nonprofits as well with their artist and graphic needs.

Her experience with owning her own business and volunteering at the local nonprofits has really reinforced her love for graphic design, which ended up spawning a few of her side projects: The Hidden Gems of Prescott Valley map, a coalition of local businesses who came together to offer a fun way to explore the town, and the Nacho Average Competition, a competition to be held among the restaurants of Prescott, AZ.

Soon after, she went back to school and received her BA in Elementary Education and began teaching again with her adorable first grade class. Meanwhile she was also working closely with other volunteers to form the Prescott Food Forest, a community garden project! Now she is the Educational Director and she runs gardening classes on Saturdays in Chino Valley at B Organic Farm! But she just couldn't stop herself and continues her artwork and sculpture and she is currently putting together a Patreon webpage in hopes of being able to work on art and teaching gardening full time!
